Cheesy potatoes

32 oz. | Hash brown potatoes |
8 oz. | Sour cream |
2 cups | shredded cheese, (8 oz. Cheddar or 12 oz. American) |
1 cup | melted butter |
1 10.5oz. Can | Cream of chicken soup |
1/4 tsp | Pepper |
1 tsp | Salt |
2 cups | crushed corn flakes |
1/2 of a small onion chopped (optional)
Directions
Mix 1/2 cup melted butter, sour cream, soup, cheese, salt, (onion) and pepper. Spread hash browns in 13 x 9 pan. Spread with cheese mixture. Top with corn flake crumbs and drizzle with 1/2 cup melted butter. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
