Chocolate tart with chocolate chip cookie crust

16 | chocolate chip cookies, finely ground (2c) |
2 tbsp | butter, melted |
For the filling | |
1 c | cream |
8 oz | semisweet chocolate, chopped, or chips (1 1/3c) |
1 large | egg |
1/4 c | whole milk |
1 tbsp | butter |

1) preheat oven to 350F. Make the crust: stir together cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press into bottom of 9.5" tart pan with removable bottom. Refrigerate until chilled 30m
2) bake until firm and darkened 10-12 m. Let cool completely on baking sheet. Meanwhile, make filling. Heat cream in saucepan until just starting to boil. Pour over chocolate in bowl. Let stand 1m. Stir. Whisk in egg, milk, butter. Pour into cooled crust.
3) reduce oven temp to 300F. Bake tart until edges of filling are set but center jiggles slightly, 20-24 m. Transfer to wire rack. Serve warm or at room temp.
