Heat broiler and put pan 4 inches from heat(line a pan with foil) In a small bowl, whisk 3 ingredients Place salmon on prepared sheet and brush mixture on top. Broil until browned about 5-6 minutes Recipe 2 -Broil about 6 inches from heat: Honey-Soy Glazed Salmon with Veggies and Oranges - for 4 salmon fillets 4 T honey 1 Tb soy sauce 1 TB Dijon mustard 1 tsp seasoned rice wine vinegar 1 lb asparagus, 8 oz fresh green beans trimmed, 1 small orange, cut into 1/4 to 1/2 inch slices. | |
1 T | olive oil 1 tsp kosher salt 1/4 tsp black ground pepper |
--Whisk together honey, soy, mustard and vinegar in small bowl
--Add olive oil, salt and pepper in larger bowl and add asparagus and fresh green beans and toss and coat.
--Place salmon on foiled lined sheet pan. Brush salmon with about 2 T of honey mixture.
Spread asparagus mixture around salmon.
--Broil about 4 minutes (preheated broiler) - Then remove from oven and brush 2 T more of honey mixture.
-- Return to oven and broil another 4 minutes
--Remove from oven again and brush remaining honey mixture on salmon and broil another 2 minutes or more
If needed. Serve immediately
2 minutes as needed to finish.
Serve immediately
