Pepper Almonds

2 (6 oz.) cans | whole natural almonds |
3 Tb. | butter |
3 Tb. | white wine Worcestershire sauce |
1 tsp. | salt |
1 tsp. | chili powder |
1/2 tsp. | garlic powder |
1/8 tsp. | ground white pepper |
1/8 tsp. | ground red pepper |
1/8 tsp. | ground black pepper |
Place almonds in a medium bowl. Melt butter in a small skillet or saucepan. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, chili powder, garlic powder and peppers. Cook 1 minutes. Remove from heat, and pour over almonds; stir well. Let stand 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Arrange almonds in a single layer on an ungreased jellyroll pan or baking sheet. Bake 35 minutes or until toasted, stirring often. Cool completely and store in an airtight container.
