| ROSEBUD COOKIES | |
| ½ cup | shortening |
| ½ cup | brown sugar |
| ½ cup | white sugar |
| ½ cup | peanut butter |
| 1 | egg |
| 2 Tblsp | milk |
| 1 tsp | vanilla |
| Sift together: | |
| 1 ½ cups | flour |
| 1 tsp | baking soda |
Mix together all ingredients and roll into balls. Roll in sugar. Bake 8 min. at 375°. Remove from oven. Press a rose bud in center until cracks appear. Bake 2 – 5 minutes more. Remove from pan.
