Mom's Apple Dumpling Bake

2 tubes refrigerated Crescent Rolls | |
2 medium | Granny Smith apples |
(peeled & cored) | |
1/2 cup | white sugar |
1/2 cup | brown sugar |
1/3 cup | butter,, (melted) |
3/4 cup | Mountain Dew or 7 up Soda |
Ground Cinnamon | |
Vanilla Ice Cream |
Unroll crescent rolls & separate dough into 16 triangles. Cut apple into 8 wedges. Wrap a dough triangle around each apple wedge.
Place in GREASED 13x9 baking dish.
In bowl mix sugars & butter then sprinkle over rolls. SLOWLY pour soda AROUND the rolls. DO NOT STIR. Sprinkle tops with cinnamon.
Bake uncovered @ 350 degrees for 35-40 min or until they are golden brown.
Serve warm with Ice Cream
