Pork Shoulder Roast

    1(5 lbs)  Pork Shoulder Roast
    2 packets  Lipton Onion Soup Mix
    6  russet potatoes
    1 large  onion
    4  carrots
    2 tbsp  butter
      Salt
      Pepper

Directions
Cut lines onto outside of roast. Rub 1 packet of soup mix, pepper and salt all over roast. Place roast into roasting pan.
Cube vegetables to bite size pieces, put 1 packet of soup mix, pepper and salt on vegetables. Put vegetables into roasting pan around the roast. Cut butter into piece and spread all over vegetables.
Heat oven 450 degrees, place roasting pan in the middle of the oven uncovered for 30 minutes. Then reduce heat to 300 degrees and put lid on roasting pan. Cook for 3 hours.
