Squash Casserole (Dana's Recipe)

| 5 pounds | yellow squash |
| 2 | eggs beaten |
| 1 1/2 - 2 cups | bread crumbs |
| 1 stick | butter |
| 1/4 cup | sugar |
| salt | |
| 2 T | chopped onion |
| dash | pepper |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut tips off squash, then cut into 3 or 4 pieces. Boil squash, reduce heat, boil until tender. Drain then place in large bowl & mash. Stir in eggs, butter, sugar, onion, salt & pepper. Spoon into greased 13 x 9 casserole. Sprinkle bread crumbs on top. Bake 30 to 40 minutes until browned.
