6 c. | flour |
6 tsp. | baking powder |
5 tsp. | salt |
1 tsp. | coarse black pepper |
2 Tb. | cayenne pepper |
1 c. | cold butter, cut into squares |
4 c. | grated Parmesan cheese |
2 c. | milk |
1 c. | buttermilk |
4 | eggs |
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In the bowl of a food processor, combine flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Add butter and pulse until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Pour dough into a large bowl and stir in Parmesan, making sure it is evenly distributed.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, buttermilk, and eggs. Add to flour mixture and stir until combined. Knead once or twice to bring it all together. If dough is too sticky, sprinkle on more flour. Divide dough into your favorite small molds.
4. Bake until slightly golden, 20-25 minutes. Serve warm.
