1 1/2 cups | unsifted flour |
1/2 teaspoon | baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon | salt |
1 cup | butter |
1 1/2 cups | sugar |
4 tablespoons | water |
2 12-oz package (4 cups) | semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided in two |
2 teaspoons | vanilla extract |
4 | eggs |
1 cup | chopped nuts |
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking | |
soda, and salt; set aside. In medium saucepan, combine butter, sugar, | |
water, bring just to a boil. Remove from heat. Add 12-oz chocolate |
chips and vanilla extract. Stir until chips melt and mixture is smooth.
Transfer to large bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each
addition. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in remaining 12-oz
chips and nuts. Spread into greased 13-in by 9-in baking pan. Bake at
325, 45-55 minutes. Cool completely.
