Saucy Italian Roast (crockpot)

3 1/2 lb | beef rump roast |
1/2 tsp | salt |
1/2 tsp | garlic powder |
1/4 tsp | pepper |
1/2 cup | red wine |
1 jar (4 1/2 oz) | sliced mushroom, drained |
1 medium | onion, diced |
1 jar (14 oz) | spaghetti sauce |
Hot cooked pasta, (angle cut tubes) |
Cut roast in half
Combine salt, garlic powder, pepper and rub over roast
Place in slow cooker
Top with mushrooms and onion
Combine spaghetti sauce and wine - pour over meat and vegetables
Cover and cook on Low 8 to 9 hours
Slice and serve over pasta
