Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo

6 oz | fettuccine |
1 lb | chicken breasts, boneless, skinless, cubed |
1 small | onion, chopped |
4 cloves | garlic, minced |
1/2 tsp | salt |
1/8 tsp | cayenne pepper |
1 Tbsp | butter |
4 1/2 tsp | flour |
1 1/2 cups | half & half |
1 cup | frozen peas, thawed |
1/4 cup | Parmesan cheese |
Cook fettuccine
In large skillet, sauté the chicken, onion, garlic, salt & cayenne pepper in butter until chicken is no longer pink - stir in flour until blended
Gradually add the half & half, peas and Parmesan cheese
Bring to a boil, cook and stir for 1 to 2 minutes
Drain fettuccine and toss with chicken mixture
