Mint Chip Cookies

| 1 pkg (10 oz) | Nestlé Toll House mint flavored semi-sweet chocolate morsels |
| 1 1/4 cup | flour |
| 3/4 tsp | baking soda |
| 1/2 tsp | salt |
| 1/2 cup | softened butter |
| 1/2 cup | brown sugar |
| 1/4 cup | sugar |
| 1/2 tsp | vanilla extract |
| 1 | egg |
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Melt 1/2 the mint morsels over hot (not boiling) water ... Stir until smooth ... Cool them
In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
In a large bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, sugar, and vanilla extract - beat until creamy.
Add melted morsels and eggs - beat well.
Gradually blend in flour mixture.
Stir in remaining morsels.
Drop rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet
Bake at 375 degrees for 8-9 minutes
Let stand 2 to 3 minutes before removing from cookie sheets
