Braised Leeks and Cabbage

2 | Leeks, thinly sliced |
2 C | Red Cabbaged, thinly sliced |
1.5 cups | white wine |
2 T | balsamic vinegar |
2 T | sugar |
2 | shallots, finely chopped |
2T | Oil |
1T | fienly chopped Thyme, minced |
2 cloves | garlic, minced |
heat oil, sweat shallots, leeks, and cabbage. Cook for about 2 minutes
Add white wine, sugar, balsamic, garlic, thyme and Salt and Pepper
Reduce until almost all the liquid has evaporated. Adjust seasoning
Remove from heat and allow to cool
