Mocha Pound Cake

2 tsp. | instant coffee granules |
2 tsp. | hot water |
1/2 c. | butter, softened |
2 c. | sifted powdered sugar |
1 (10 oz.) | pound cake |
1 (3.5 oz.) jar | macadamia nuts, chopped |
1 qt. | vanilla ice cream |
1 c. | chocolate sauce |
1 c. | caramel sauce |
Dissolve coffee granules in hot water.
Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add coffee, and beat until spreading consistency. Set frosting aside.
Trim crust from cake. Cut cake into 6 pieces. Spread frosting on top and sides of pieces; roll in nuts. Top with ice cream and drizzle with sauces.
Note: You can substitute 3/4 c. chopped cocktail peanuts for the macadamia nuts.
