Peanut brittle

| 2 cups | sugar |
| 1/2 cup | water |
| 2 cups | white syrup |
| 2 sticks | butter |
| 1 tsp | baking soda |
| 2 cups | peanuts |
Heat sugar water and syrup until dissolved. When it boils add butter stir frequently after it reaches 230 at 240 add peanuts stir constantly to 300 remove from heat add soda mix well. Pour onto greased pan. Spread when cold break.
