Mom's Spaghetti Sauce

    2 lbs  ground beef
    1 large  onion, chopped,, (yellow or vidalia)
    1 large  green pepper, chopped
    16 oz  white button mushrooms, sliced
    28 oz can  whole tomatoes, crushed
    15 oz can  tomato sauce
    12 oz can  tomato paste
    1 tbsp  garlic powder
    1/4 cup  worcestershire sauce
    1 cup  sugar
    1-2 tbsp  basil
    1-2 tbsp  oregano
    1 tbsp  marjoram,, (optional)
    1 tbsp  paprika
    1 tsp  salt
    1 tsp  black pepper

1. Brown meat, veggies and all spices together on medium heat, covered, until tender.
2. Drain fat.
3. Puree all tomato ingredients, worcestershire, garlic powder and paprika.
4. Add tomato mix to the meat, then add the sugar.
5. Bring to a light boil then turn to medium-low and simmer. Cover and cook up to one hour, stirring occasionally. Season to taste.
