| 2 tbsp | unsalted butter, thinly sliced |
| 1 lb | fresh cherries or10 oz bag frozen, thawed and patted dry |
| 3 large | eggs |
| 1 1/4 cups | half and half |
| 1/2 cup 4% | cottage cheese |
| 1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp | granulated sugar |
| 1/2 cup | all purpose flour |
| Confectioners sugar |
Preheat oven to 375
Butter an 11 inch round dish
Spread cherries on bottom
Whisk remaining ingredients in bowl and pour over cherries.
Sprinkle the top with 2 tbsp gran sugar and sliced butter
Bake around 40 minutes or until edged are golden.
Let cool.
