Pumpkin Pie Cake

1 box | Yellow cake mix, save 1 cup |
To remainder, add: | |
1 block | margarine, melted |
1 | beaten egg |
Beat with fork until all cake mix is absorbed. Press into bottom of greased and floured 9 x 13" pan. Filling: | |
1 lg | can pumpkin pie filling, (preflavored) |
3 | eggs |
2/3 cup | evoraporated milk |
Beat in mixer and spread over cake dough. Topping: To cup of cake mix, add: | |
1/2 cup | sugar |
1/2 cup | nuts chopped fine, (optional) |
Crumble with 1/2 block cold margarine. Work with fork. Sprinkle over pumpkin and bake at 350 degrees for 50 - 55 minutes. Cut in squares and serve with whipped cream.
