Quaker Oats Oatmeal Cookies

| 1 stick plus 6 T | softened butter |
| 3/4 c | firmly packed brown sugar |
| 1/2 c | granulated sugar |
| 2 | eggs |
| 1 t | vanilla |
| 1 1/2 cups | all purpose flour |
| wheat flour, alternative | |
| 1 t | baking soda |
| 1 t | cinnamon |
| 3 cups | Quaker Oats |
| 1 c | choc chips or raisins |
Heat oven to 350. In large bowl, beat butter and sugars until creamy.
Add eggs and vailla; beat well.
Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon. Mix well.
Add oats and raisins or chips. Mix well.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 8-10 minutes.
Store tightly covered.
