Chicken Marbella

4chickens or 7 lbs.thighs
    1 head  garlic
    1/2 cup  olive oil
    1/4 cup  dried oregano
Coarse salt and pepper
    1/2 cup  red wine vinegar
    1/2 cup  oil 1 cup pitted prunes
    1/2 cup  Spanish green olives
    1/2 cup  capers optional
    6  bay leaves
    1 cup  brown sugar
    1 cup  white wine

1/4. Cup parsley

Preheat to 350. Combine chic garlic oregano pepper salt to taste vinegar oil prunes olives capers and leaves. Cover and marinate overnight. Chic in single layer. Marinade over. Sprinkle with brown sugar and pour wine around. Bake 50 min to 1 hour basting. Transfer chic prunes olives and capers to platter. Moisten with bit of juice and sprinkle parsley. Pass juice in sauceboat.
