Individual Pecan Pies

12 | individual frozen pie shells |
1 c. | chopped pecans |
1/2 c. | butter |
3/4 c. | light corn syrup |
1 c. | sugar |
3 large | eggs, beaten |
1 tsp. | vanilla |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Arrange pie shells on a baking sheet. Sprinkle 1 heaping tablespoon chopped pecans in each pie shell, dividing pecans equally among shells. Set aside. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in corn syrup, sugar, and eggs. Remove from heat; add vanilla. Pour filling into pie shells, dividing equally among pie shells. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until pies are golden brown.
