2 tbsp | minced fresh garlic |
2 tbsp | olive oil |
Sauté until onion are translucent Italian sausage Add to onions and garlic, brown sausage | |
2 cans | crushed tomatoes |
1 can | purée |
1 can | water |
Add to above. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to simmer. Add spices. Simmer 4-6 hours. Stir frequently. | |
2 tbsp | salt |
1 tsp | pepper |
1 tbsp | garlic powder |
1 tbsp | oregano, (fresh) |
1 tbsp | basil, (fresh) |
2 tbsp | parsley, (fresh) |
Add cooked meatballs after 2hours simmer.
Italian sausage may be eliminated.
