Hungarian Goulash (crockpot)

Ingredients: | |
2lbs. | round steak, cut in 1/2 inch cubes (Venison works well in this recipe too!!) |
1 c. | chopped onion |
1 clove | garlic, minced |
2 T. | flour |
1 t. | salt |
1/2 t. | pepper |
1.5 t. | paprika |
1/4 t. | thyme, (dried, crushed) |
1 | bay leaf |
1 large can | tomatoes, (you can use whole, crushed, or diced…whatever you prefer) |
1 c. | sour cream |
buttered egg noodles
Put steak cubes, onion and garlic in crock. Stir in flour and mix to coat steak cubes. Add all remaining ingredients EXCEPT sour cream. Stir well. Cover and cook on LOW 7 to 10 hours or HIGH 3 to 4 hours. Add sour cream 30 minutes before serving and stir in thoroughly.
