Homemade Chocolate or Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

| 2 (14 oz.) cans | sweetened condensed milk |
| 1 qt. | half and half |
| 1 1/2 Tb. | vanilla |
| 1 c. | chocolate syrup |
| Chocolate Chip: | |
| 1 c. | semisweet mini chocolate chips, (for chocolate syrup) |
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl; mixing well. Pour mixture into freezer container. Freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
