Fried Ice Cream Dessert

2 sticks | butter |
1 1/2 cups | brown sugar |
3/4 tsp | cinnamon |
6 cups | crushed corn flakes, crushed first then measured |
1/2 cup | pecans |
1/2 gallon | vanilla ice cream |
Heat first 3 ingredients; stirring constantly. Add next 2 ingredients until toasted.
Press half of mixture in bottom of 13 × 9 pan. Take a 1/2 gallon box of ice cream and let soften. Slice in 1 1/2 inch slices and lay over crumbs in pan. Smooth. Press the rest of crumbs over top and freeze for several hours. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
Drizzle with chocolate sauce or warm honey.
