1 lb | hamburger meat |
1 clove | minced garlic |
1 t | basil flakes |
½ t | salt |
1 c | canned stewed tomatoes |
2 6oz cans | tomato paste |
10 oz (8) | lasagna noodles |
3 cups | cottage cheese (large) |
ricotta, alternative | |
½ cup | Parmesan cheese |
2 T | parsley flakes |
2 | eggs |
10 oz | mozzarella |
Preheat oven to 375°.
Brown, salt and drain hamburger meat. Mix with garlic, basil, tomatoes and paste.
Cook at drain lasagna noodles.
Mix cottage cheese, Parmesan, parsley, eggs.
Grease 13 ½ x 9” casserole dish.
Layer twice as follows: noodles, cheese mix, mozzarella, meat sauce.
Top with Parmesan or mozzarella cheese.
Bake 30 minutes. If prepared ahead of time reduce heat to 350°, 40-45 minutes.
