1 cup | diced tomatoes |
1 cup | shredded green cabbage |
1 cup | shredded carrots |
1 cup | diced green peppers |
1/2 | lemon |
1/2 cup | diced red onions |
1 cup | frozen corn defrosted |
1 cup | Chickpeas |
1 cup | frozen green peas defrosted |
1 teaspoon | cumin |
1 tablespoon | wine vinegar or raisin vinegar |
1 teaspoon | Mrs. Dash |
1 teaspoon | garlic powder |
1 cup | red kidney beans |
1 cup | black beans |
Add the tomatoes to a small covered pot and steam the shredded cabbage, carrots, and green peppers for only 5 minutes on the lowest flame possible in the pot. Stir in juice of 1/2 lemon and the diced red onions, com. peas, spices, and beans. Serve cold an top of shredded lettuce.
