1 cup | flour |
1 1/2 TeaspoonBaking Powder | |
1 Teaspoon | Salt |
1 LargeEgg | |
6 Tablespoons | Oil |
3/4 Cup | Milk |
1 Teaspoon | Vanilla |
Pre-heat electric skillet to 350. Combine Flour, Baking Powder, and Salt. Beat Egg. Add Oil and Milk. Beat with a mixer or whip with a whisk. Add Egg-Milk-Oil mixture to dry ingredients. At this point, do not beat with a mixer, stir with a spoon or whip with a whisk. Let pancake batter rest for 1 minute. Spoon pancake batter onto skillet. Continue to cook pancake until top side of pancake has multiple air holes appearing on the pancake. The air holes should cover nearly all of the surface of the pancake prior to turning pancake over to cook the other side as the first side. The second side will appear to have off white and golden brown colors when it is done. Yield: Nine 4" in diameterPancakes. | |
