White Chicken Chili

| 1/2 C | butter, melted |
| 1/4 C | flour |
| 3/4 C | chicken broth |
| 2 C | half and half |
| Sautee 1/2 chopped onion. In a pan mix as for white sauce, stirring flour into butter and adding broth and milk. Simmer and whisk until thickened. Add 1/2 tsp chili powder | |
| 1 tsp | cumin |
| 1/2 tsp | salt |
| 1/2 tsp | pepper |
| 2 small cans | chopped green chilis |
| 3 cans | white northern beans, (Bush's) |
| 1/2 C sauteed onion | |
| 11/2 C | (or more) grated Monterey Jack cheese |
Simmer together. Serve with "Scoops" or Fritos
