Quiche - mission home

This has been a long time tradition to serve to the new missionaries as they anrive in Geneva and come to the mission home from the airport. | |
1 | pie crust, (pate brise or fuette) |
200 g. | grated cheese |
4 slices | ham, (jambon fume) |
4 | eggs |
1 1/2 c | milk |
1/2 tsp | salt |
pinch | pepper |
Heat oven to 200 c. (375 f). Lay pie crust in the dish and lightly make holes in the crust with a fork. Bake crust l0 min. Beat together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Spread the cheese and ham evenly into the pie crust when baked. Then carefully cover with the egg mixture. Place in oven and allow to bake for about 40 minutes. Serve with fresh fruit, green salad and french bread. Bon Appetill
