    2 pound  pkg froxen hashbrowns, thawed
    1 /2 C  butter, melted
    1 tsp  salt
    1/2 tsp  black pepper
    1 can  cream of chicken soup
    1 pint  sour cream
    1/2 C  chopped onion
    10 ounce  cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 C  crushed corn flakes
    3 Tbl  melted butter

Combine potatoes with all ingredients except corn flakes and 3 Tbl butter. Pour into 13 X 9 pan. Saute corn flakes with 3 Tbl butter, then sprinkle this over the casserole. Bake about 1 hour. If it seems dry, can add some milk before serving.
