Chicken Cacciatore

| 2 | sliced onions |
| 1 LB | chicken pieces |
| 3 cloves | garlic, chopped |
| 1-16 oz. can | tomatoes |
| 1 - 8oz. | tomato sauce |
| 1 | sliced green bell pepper |
| sliced mushrooms | |
| 2 | bay leaves |
| 2 tsp | oregano |
| 1 tsp | basil |
| 1/4 cup | dry white wine |
Brown chicken in olive oil for 15 minutes then add remaining ingredients, except wine. Simmer until chicken is done. Stir in white wine and simmer 5 more minutes. Serve over cooked noodles and top with parmesan cheese.
