Marinated Cheese

    1-10 oz package  white cheddar cheese
    1-10 oz package  yellow sharp cheddar cheese
    2-8 oz  cream cheese, (do not soften first as it's easier to slice, slice lengthwise)
Slice the cheese and layer each with cream cheese in between the slices alternating between the white and yellow cheddar cheeses. MARINADE:
    1/2 cup  olive oil
    1/2 cup  white wine vinegar
    4 oz (1/2 cup)  chopped pimento
      red pepper, alternative
    3 tbsp  chopped fresh parsley
    2 tbsp  chopped fresh basil
    3 tbsp  chopped green onions
    3 cloves  garlic, chopped
    1 tsp  sugar
    1/2 tsp  salt
    1/2 tsp  pepper

Mix and pour over cheese. Marinate a few hours or overnight.

*if you don't have fresh, just use the chopped spice (jar).
