Marinated Cheese

1-10 oz package | white cheddar cheese |
1-10 oz package | yellow sharp cheddar cheese |
2-8 oz | cream cheese, (do not soften first as it's easier to slice, slice lengthwise) |
Slice the cheese and layer each with cream cheese in between the slices alternating between the white and yellow cheddar cheeses. MARINADE: | |
1/2 cup | olive oil |
1/2 cup | white wine vinegar |
4 oz (1/2 cup) | chopped pimento |
red pepper, alternative | |
3 tbsp | chopped fresh parsley |
2 tbsp | chopped fresh basil |
3 tbsp | chopped green onions |
3 cloves | garlic, chopped |
1 tsp | sugar |
1/2 tsp | salt |
1/2 tsp | pepper |
Mix and pour over cheese. Marinate a few hours or overnight.
*if you don't have fresh, just use the chopped spice (jar).
