Flour tortillas

1-2 Tbl | baking powder |
1 tsp | salt |
2/3 C. | shortening |
water |
Mix flour, salt and baking powder. Cut in shortening until the size of small peas. Add enough water to moisten and make cling. Let sit 15 min., then form irrto 2" balls. Roll out into thin circles. Cook on both sides on griddle or greaseless pan, very hot. Cook first side very quickly, then turn and brown slightly. Turn back to first side and pop bubbles with a papertowel. Keep warm in foil.
