    10-12   Green chilis, whole
    1 1/2 C  Colby cheese, grated
    3/4   pd ground beef or chicken, cooked
    1/2 C  onion, chopped
    1 C  milk
    4  eggs
    1/4 C.  flour
    1/4 tsp  salt
    1/4 tsp  pepper

Split chilis, remove seeds, dry with a paper towel. arrange chilis on bottom of greased pan. Put on a layer of cheese. Brown hamburger and onion (or onion only if using cooked chicken), drain. Layer of meat on top of cheese. Beat eggs, flour, and salt and pepper until smooth. Pour over meat. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 45 minutes or until knife comes out clean. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving. (Kind of bland)
