Casserole, Pam's Chicken

6 | chicken breasts cooked, and shredded |
1 C. | onion, chopped |
1 C. | celery, chopped |
1 C. | green pepper, chopped |
2 Tbl. | butter |
10 oz. | noodles, cooked and drained |
1 tsp. | garlic salt |
1 can | mushroom pieces, 4 oz. size |
1 can | mushroom soup |
1 can | cream of chicken soup |
1 c. | sour cream |
1 jar | pimento, small |
8 oz. | water chestnuts, sliced |
2 C. | cheese, grated |
Cook chicken and shred. Saute vegetables in butter. Cook noodles and drain. Mix all ingredients together and put in casserole dish. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until hot and cheese is melted. This freezes well. Serve with green salad and rolls, if desired.
