Custard Filling for Cream Puffs

12 fl oz | milk |
1/2 cup | sugar |
1.5 tbsp | cornflour |
Pinch | salt |
2 | egg yolks, beaten with fork. |
1 tsp | vanilla |
Slowly heat milk in heavy saucepan until bubbles form around the edge.
In small bowl, combine sugar, cornflour and salt.
Stir into hot milk all at once.
Cook, stirring, over medium heat until mixture bolis. Simmer one minute.
Pour a small amount of hot mixture into egg yolks and stir well.
Pour back Into sucepan and cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.
Remove from heat and add vanilla.
Turn into bowl and refrigerate until ready to use.
