| 1/2 cup | shortening |
| 1 tsp. | Ginger |

| 2 tsp. | Baking soda |
| 1 cup | boiling water |
| 2 well-beaten eggs | |
| 2 1/2 cups | flour |
Mix all ingredients together. Bake 45 minutes @ 350 degrees. 8 x 8 pan.
