    1 medium  onion
    2-14 oz  chicken broth
    5 large  potatoes-diced
    2 cups  water
    ½ tsp  salt
    ½ ts  pepper
    ½ tsp  dried dill
    ¼ cup  flour
    2 cups  half and half
    1 – 12 oz can  evaporated milk
Cook onion in large skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes or until onion is tender. Put onion in 6 quart slow cooker. Add chicken broth,
    2 cups  water
      potatoes
      salt
      pepper
      dill

Cook on medium high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours.
Increase heat slightly, stir flour into half and half, pour into slow cooker, add evaporated milk.
Cook for 30 minutes until hot.
Top with bacon, sour cream, cheese and green onion.
