Dressed-Up Tomato Soup

1 (28 oz.) can | Italian-seasoned diced tomatoes |
1 (32 oz.) container | chicken broth |
1 (26 oz.) can | tomato soup |
1/2 tsp. | freshly ground pepper |
Toppings: | sour cream, chopped fresh parsley, basil, chives, or rosemary; croutons, freshly grated Parmesan cheese; lemon zest |
Pulse tomatoes in a food processor 3-4 times or until finely dices. Stir together tomatoes and next 3 ingredients in a Dutch oven. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Serve with desird toppings. NOTE: This recipe was tested with Progresso Diced Tomatoes With Italian Herbs.
