Quinoa ( how to cook it)

1 cup | Quinoa |
1 1/2 cups | cold water |
1 tsp | salt, (optional) |
1: Soak Quinoa for 5 mins in pot. Soaking helps to cook it evenly.
2: Rinse - stir Quinoa with your hand and carefully pour off the rinsing water with a strainer.
3: Drain Quinoa and pour into cooking pot and add the cold water and salt(optional).
4: Bring to a boil, cover with a tight fitting lid, and turn heat down to simmer.
Cook for 15 mins
Remove from heat and allow to sit for 5 mins with lid on.
Fluff with fork and serve
