    3 tbsp.  salad oil
    2 lbs.  filet mignon cut in thin strips, (you can use sirloin, top round, etc but filet is really the best!)
    1 large  onion, chopped
    1/4-1/2 lb.  fresh mushrooms, (canned ok)
    2 8-oz cans  tomato sauce
    1/2 cup  red wine
    1/2 cup  water
    1 tsp.  salt
    1 tbsp.  Worcestershire Sauce
    1 cup  sour cream

Cooked egg noodles or rice

Brown meat in oil; remove. Cook onion and mushrooms till golden brown.
Stir in remaining ingredients (except sour cream). Return meat to
pan. Cover and simmer about 1 hr, or until tender (depending on the cut of meat you choose).
Gradually stir in sour cream. Heat almost **NOT QUITE** to
boiling. Serve over hot, buttered noodles or hot cooked rice. Should serve 6. A feast fit for a Russian Czar! Enjoy!!
