Slowcooker Lasagna

1 lb | lasagna noodles |
1 lb | sweet Italian sausage |
4 cups | tomato basil sauce |
1/4 cup | tomato puree |
1/4 cup | water |
4 cups | ricotta |
2 cups | shredded mozzarella,, (set aside 1/2 cup) |
1/2 cup | grated Parmesan |
1 tsp | Italian seasoning |
Salt | |
pepper to taste | |
Olive oil |
Cook Italian sausage in olive oil until brown.
Season with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
Mix tomato sauce, tomato puree, and water.
Mix ricotta, 1.5 cups mozzarella, and Parmesan.
Lightly grease slow cooker with olive oil.
Layer noodles (about 4) in slow cooker.
Spread cheese mixture.
Top with sauce.
Repeat until noodles are dine, finishing with sauce.
Top with remaining mozzarella.
Cook on high 1 hour.
Reduce to low for 5 hours.
Serve with extra Parmesan cheese.
