Slow cooker chocolate fudge pudding cake

This rich, gooey cake is good straight from the slow cooker, cold or reheated. It doesn't keep very well, but you shouldn't have any left over anyway! Prep time: 25 mins Cook time: 2 hours Total time: 2 hours, 25 minutes. Ingredients: | |
1 cup | flour |
1/2 cup | brown sugar |
1/4 cup | sugar |
3 tbsp | cocoa |
2 tsp | baking powder |
dash | salt |
1/2 cup | milk |
3 tbsp | cooking oil |
1 tsp | vanilla |
3/4 cup | brown sugar |
2 tbsp | cocoa |
1-3/4 cups | hot water |
Preparation:
Spray slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine flour, 1/2 cup brown sugar, sugar, 3 tbsp cocoa, baking powder, and salt and stir well. Pour into prepared slow cooker.
In a medium bowl, stir 3/4 cup brown sugar and 2 tbsp cocoa together. Add hot water and mix well until blended. Pour over batter in slow cooker; do not stir! Cover slow cooker and cook on high about 1-3/4 to 2 hours or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean. Do not over cook or cake will be dry. 8-10 servings.
