| 34 c | sugar |
| 1 | egg |
| 1/2 t | vanilla |
| 1/2 t | orange rind |
| 2 c | flour |
| 1 1/2 t | baking soda |
| 1/4 t | salt |
| 4 t. | milk |
Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg and beat until fluffy. Add vanilla, orange rind, and mix. Sift dry ingredients together and add alternatively with milk. Roll out and cut. Bake 12 min. at 375 F.
