2 Lb | beef short rib, soak in cold |
water for at least 30 mins & change water few times. | |
Seasoning Mix | |
2 C | Water |
1 T | Rice wine |
4 T | Soy sauce |
1 T | Brown sugar |
8 Garlic cloves minced | |
1/2 | Onion sliced |
Carrots cut into 2" bite size piece Radish cut into 2" bite size piece | |
5 | dried Shitake mushroom, soak in |
water | |
2 T | Moolyeot, (corn syrup) |
1 T | Sesame oil |
1/2 t | Black pepper |
Green onion |
Boil water. Add ribs & boil for 5-10 mins. Remove ribs & wash with cold water to remove unnecessary fat.
Throw away water & clean pot. Place clean rib in pot.
Make seasoning mix & add to pot. Boil it over med heat for 20 mins.
Add carrots, radish, mushroom & simmer for 1 hr. Stir time to time.
Add Moolyeot, Sesame oil, Black pepper & heat it up over high heat until liquid evaporate.
Transfer to platter & garnish w green onions.
