Chocolate Caramel Pretzel Sticks

1 slab caramel (from Decorator's Grocery) | |
1 bag | large pretzel sticks |
1 lb. | chocolate coating |
Melt chocolate in glass or ceramic dish and keep warm over simmering water. Meanwhile, tear off a small amount of caramel and wrap around about 1/2 of the end of a pretzel stick. Working quickly, cover the carmel with melted chocolate and place on parchment or waxed paper-lined cookie sheet. When cookie sheet is full, immediately place the cookie sheet in the refrigerator to harden the chocolate (this will set the gloss). Store pretzel sticks in airtight container.
