| 1 3/4 C | sugar |
| 3/4 | milk |
| 2 | eggs |
| 1 Tsp | soda |
| 3 Tsp | baking powder |
| 1/2 Tsp | salt |
| 4 C | flour |
| 1 Tsp | lemon extract |
| 1 Tsp | nutmeg |
Cream butter and sugar, add beaten eggs. Add milk and 3 C flour. Add soda, baking powder and salt to remaining cup of flour. Add lemon extract and nutmeg. Bake @400 F for 8 minutes.
