Place flour in bowl and rub in marg. Stir in sugar, egg and milk and mix to a soft dough. Spread in tin. Cover with jam.
Place flour sugar, marg, almond essence and eggs in bowl. Beat for 2 mins. Spread over jam. Smooth with palette knife.
Sprinkle with cocount
Bake 40-45 mins. Cool in tin.
